Subsequently, he founded the Davenant Institute, an organization dedicated to retrieving and renewing the Protestant theological and ethical tradition, which he helmed as President until 2024. In 2019, he launched Davenant Hall, the Institute’s graduate program in theological education, where he has since taught as Professor of Christian History.   From 2015-18, he taught philosophy at Moody Bible Institute-Spokane, and from 2018-19 was the Visiting Assistant Professor of Political Theory at Patrick Henry College. He has also taught for Bethlehem College and Seminary and is an Affiliate Professor of Government at Regent University. From 2018-19 he served as the founding Headmaster of Loudoun Classical School from 2019-20. From 2019-2022, he also worked as a Senior Fellow of the Edmund Burke Foundation. Dr. Littlejohn is the author or editor of nineteen books, including *The Peril and Promise of Christian Liberty* (2017), *Why Do Protestants Convert?*,and the forthcoming *Called to Freedom: Retrieving Christian Liberty in an Age of License*.
