Jen Loomis

Jennifer is serving as the Director of Admissions and Student Engagement at Christ College.

Jennifer has been in the fields of public and private education for over twenty years. She taught English and Literature in Sarasota County public schools for thirteen years and then served as the Upper School Dean and College & Career Advisor for a private classical school for seven years. She has her B.A. in English Education from the University of South Florida and her M.A. in Education from Argosy University. 

Her passion is to help lead students through their educational journeys and guide them in their years into adulthood. She loves to teach American literature, specifically, and find the ideals of the good, true, and beautiful throughout those texts. 

In her spare time, she loves going to the beach, dabbling in photography, writing, traveling, and spending time with her family. She is married to her husband Nathan, and together they have three boys, Aaron, Benjamin, and Matthew.
