Nancy Bleakley

Nancy Bleakley serves as the Librarian and Director of Learning Resources for Christ College. Nancy has had a long career as a librarian in public libraries, schools and academia.  She recently retired after fifteen years with the Brevard County Library system in central Florida. She has a B.A. in History from the University of Florida and a M.L.S. from the State University of New York at Albany. Nancy also earned a Certificate in Women’s Ministry at the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Nancy travelled around the world with her husband, Al, during his Army career of thirty years. She and Al have two adult daughters and two grandchildren.

She currently serves in many roles at her church, First Baptist Church of Cocoa, Florida. These include:  the Director of Women’s Ministry, Vacation Bible School, AWANA leader, and the Welcome Team.
